Mount Shirataki Summit / 白滝山山頂

Mount Shirataki Summit is a quiet mountain viewpoint in Mihara City, Hiroshima.

From the summit, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea and the surrounding islands.

Unlike famous tourist destinations, Shiratakiyama offers a peaceful local experience where nature, history, and everyday Japanese scenery remain unchanged.

On the way to the summit is Ryusenji Temple, a unique temple where the chief priest is originally from the United States. Visitors may even have the rare opportunity to experience Japanese temple culture through conversation in English.

For photographers, this location offers beautiful combinations of mountain landscapes, stone Buddhist statues, temple atmosphere, and views of the Seto Inland Sea.
